invitations….
i’m in search of sources for eco-ethical paper for the invitations - not as easy to find as you’d think. i’m thinking of a postcard format. got any ideas/sources?
Samthom,
Check out Arbour’s back here in OT: http://www.arbourshop.com/
I know they have paper since that’s where I buy my paper supplies, but I didn’t see any on their site. If you want me to go inquire, let me know. I live not too far.

Please RSVP!
We’re sending out our “save the date” cards. Please post a comment here to let us know if you will be joining us in Las Vegas next year, and how many of you will be attending. We’re doing this step early because we’re booking the venue this summer and location depends on numbers - thanks for your responses.
Hi Sam,
I say an excellant location for a wedding. The Malcolm clan is conspiring an invasion this August 9, 2008 date. The numbers we will need is unknown, but early count would be as follows:
Mary(Mem) & Friend
Neill
Our dearest mom, Irene
I will keep track of updates through your site as well as by email which has been submitted.
We’re just back from our whirlwind recon trip to Vegas and have nailed down our ceremony and reception location. We’re vERy lucky that my Godmother Patty has invited us to hold both on her beautiful Provencal property. We’ll be having an outdoor ceremony at a nearby park, and an intimate dinner at her home propper. We’re so excited to have a unique and private venue, but intimacy translates into space limitations and we will have to cap our guest list to all those who have responded to date. We love you all and know that your love and best wishes are with us, even if you won’t be there in person!
It’ll be hot no matter where you’re from, but Ontario folks may find the dry heat a little easier to bear than some of the record humidex temperatures from this summer. Don’t forget to pack lots of sunscreen and sunhats!
Sam and Peter
Hello, Sam. This is Mem saying Hi. I’m on Neill’s email. I’m wanting to know what hotel you have reserved rooms for guests. I’m planning on coming for Aug 4-6th arriving and leaving 13-15 th depending on flights etc. I’m bring a friend(just a friend, no hankypanky friend). So if you could please relay the name, phone, prices, etc. looking forward to hearing from you. THANKS, MEM AND NEILL. BYE FOR NOW
Hey Sam,
I just wanted to say that I can’t come to your wedding in August, as much as I’d love to. You’ll have to send pictures - or better yet, lets plan a visit the next time you’re in town - with lots of warning so I can cancel every possible thing on the schedule for you! I have a letter thats sitting in my car that’s half written, and then I got really sick and never picked it up again afterwards. Steve and I are going away next weekend ( a first without kids!), so I’ll have a nice little car ride to sit and finish the letter. We need to start emailing - I’m a bit of an email junky since I’m at home and can pop on quickly while the kids play in the basement. We’d finally be able to catch up fully that way.
I hope all goes well as the months of planning come to an end. Try not to lose your mind the last week! Details aside, its really just watching the two of you together that everyone should be going for.
love ya,
Becky

hey there - I am just able to attend your wedding. Sadly my friends are moving away to Terrace and leaving God’s country, so Karen will not be able to make it as we were planning. Can’t wait to get to Vegas - it will be my first time. Still looking for the right dress and shoes…anyways take care and see you soon!
Sandy
Oops - typo! my friends are moving away to kamloops - and leaving us behind here in god’s country - terrace is practically next door - beside God’s country!…lol
Sandy
Hello there
I finally have a moment to add a comment. First, thank you so much for inviting me to your beautiful wedding and meeting the members of both your families! I had a blast and it was so special to spend time with you in Vegas!
I decided to add my list of memorable moments! Sam inspired me to create my list as she had lists going each day to get things done…
-Being serenaded by 3 opera singers while waiting for my dinner party at the Bellagio – how awesome! LInda picked an awesome restaurant!
-Meeting my first pair of Jimmy Shoo shoes – probably the closest I will ever get – drop dead red pair of heels on a gorgeous gal, Jordan
-Shopping at the Las Vega Outlet Stores – although at record time. Both Pete and Sam love shoes – must be kindred spirits!
-I survived heat exhaustion and there were flash floods around Sin city!
- Spending quality girl time at the beautiful Red Rock Casino/Spa – getting pampered with a mani/pedi with color “I only drink champagne”!
-Getting to drive around in Murry’s cool “Bubble Gum Machine” – PT Cruiser
-And then holding on for dear life when laying rubber in Pete and Sam’s fast car – the new Malibu SS!
- Trying my darndest to win something at the Slots – just lucky in getting hello’s from some egyptian guys!
- Understanding why Sam calls her godmother, Patti, the fairy godmother
-Seeing Alvin drive around with Sam’s buddies form Ontario in a white mustang convertible – wooo hooo!!
-Lorna getting her pictures taken on the strip at 2 am in the morning with the most suitable background of call girl ads! Was that on purpose Alvin?
-Actually finding a dress and shoes although I was trying for a pink tuxedo!
-Managing not to get stung by a giant bumblebee during the ceremony and Sam too!
-And oh – what happened to the bible at the ceremony? It was just here on this chair? Jordan – did you see it by any chance?
-Holding myself together just long enough to not faint or cry during my toast to Peter; everyone spoke so eloquently and I loved the stories
-Enjoying the champagne – first time I had champagne that I liked!
-Waiting for the timer to kick in for the twinkle lights to come on while at the reception in the courtyard – did they light up, Pete?
and finally flying into Prince George to torrential rain and 9 degrees in my tank, shorts and sandals. from 42 degrees to 9 in a few hours! Yikes! I am not getting off this plane! Welcome back to the North!
Again thanks so much for sharing your special day with me, an elegant and beautiful ceremony, reception and especially the awesome wedding cake!
Take care and safe travels to both of you where ever you are in Paris!
PS my girls loved your pics but there is noses are still out of joint that they were left behind!
